CUSTODIAL SERVICE

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:

High school diploma or equivalent. Moderate physical strength. Able to lift 65 pounds. Must be prompt, neat, thorough, honest and flexible. Have knowledge of custodial responsibilities, including the use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

Ability to follow a fixed schedule and work without close/direct supervision.

Must have a valid Ohio drivers license and a fully insured personal vehicle for agency use. Must have and maintain a good driving record. Must demonstrate continuous satisfactory job performance. Must have a record of reliable work attendance.

Preferred:

Custodial experience or experience in related areas.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform various cleaning duties. Provide thorough cleaning and servicing of restrooms, offices, meeting rooms, lounges, etc. Daily floor maintenance including mopping, scrubbing, stripping, waxing and buffing. Perform various outdoor/indoor tasks including weeding, trimming, snow removal, painting, etc.

Ability to drive to various sites. May be assigned to work at other sites or on team projects.

Open and close agency buildings.

HOURS:

Days and hours of work may vary based on the needs of the agency. Flexible as needed.

SALARY:

Level 2

PROBATION:

280 calendar days (initial); 90 calendar days (non-initial)
