QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:

High school diploma or GED and job-related work experience.

Able to process, and key, large amounts of data with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to review documentation for errors and make corrections. Must demonstrate strong attention to detail.

Have a mathematical ability, including the ability to calculate fractions, decimals and percentages.

Be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel software.

Have interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with management, staff, consumers and families; good speaking, listening and writing skills.

Must possess good organizational skills.

Must have a current valid Ohio driver license and an insured personal vehicle for use while on agency business.

Must have a record of reliable work attendance.

Must have demonstrated continuous satisfactory job performance.

Must be able to meet all requirements and obtain all certificates required to perform the job or any aspect of the job, and to access funding for performance of any aspect of the job.

 

Preferred:

Work experience with a County Agency’s Business Department.

Work experience in data entry, including error checking.

Work experience in auditing and/or billing documentation.

Ability to work within established timelines and meet reporting schedules/deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Keying and collating agency Medicaid billing documents, reviewing service documentation, and processing billing invoices.

Filing and retrieving service documentation for audit/accreditation review.

Recording, entering, and reviewing data.

Performing document destruction based on Agency record retention procedures.

Performing a variety of business office clerical duties i.e. printing, copying, scanning, shredding, filing, mailing, and proofing.

Communicate with staff, vendors, and consumers/families via email, phone, and mailings. Perform tasks associated with these communications.

Confirm receipt/delivery of items/services.

Verifying costing extensions and preparing costing forms for Accounts Payable.

Perform school lunch duties when Food Service Coordinator is unavailable.

Provide back up to the Agency Courier and assist the Transportation Coordinator as needed. This will require driving.

HOURS:

Generally, 19 hours per week. Flexible as needed, including required nights and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of the agency. 

SALARY:

Level 2

PROBATION:

140 calendar days (initial); 90 calendar days (non-initial)
