PROGRAM MANAGER – RESIDENTIAL
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum:
Bachelor degree or Associate degree.
Experience in working with persons with developmental disabilities (DD).
Good writing and communication skills. Able to write goals and objectives and implement program plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Computer-literate and possesses a working knowledge of windows-based computer programs such as Word and Outlook. Ability to access documents and templates on agency’s website and research the internet.
Ability to become conversant with state licensure regulations, regulations related to the operation of an Intermediate Care Facility for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF-IID), and behavior support techniques and protocols as they relate to the DD system.
Must have a valid Ohio driver license and an insured, personal vehicle for use while on agency business. Must have and maintain a good driving record. Must have a record of reliable work attendance and continuous satisfactory job performance.
Must be able to meet all requirements and obtain all certifications required to perform the job or any aspect of the job, and to access funding for performance of any aspect of the job.
Preferred:
Bachelor degree.
Familiarity with state licensure regulations, regulations related to the operation of an ICF-IID, and behavior support techniques and protocols as they relate to the DD system.
Supervisory experience.
Experience in working with persons with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and meet the time commitment for operating a group home for adult residents.
Implement skill development programs and services outlined in Ohio Individual Service Plans (OISPs) of residents.
Supervisory duties to include giving employee assignments, training, orienting, scheduling, evaluating, following discipline procedures, filling in on shifts when coverage is needed, etc.
Maintain accurate kitchen inventory and ensure necessary food and supplies are ordered by applicable deadlines.
Compile records and information for development of OISPs for residents and meet all record-keeping requirements.
Foresee needs of home for consumables and oversee purchasing of same. Coordinate required medical services and related insurances (Medicaid/Medicare/Spend Down).
HOURS:
Flexible and available as needed. Regular weekly schedule includes evenings and weekend hours.
SALARY:
Level 6 (Management Contract)
