PRODUCTION MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:

High school diploma or GED. Experience in production scheduling and quality assurance in a manufacturing setting or manufacturing operations. Experience in working with the developmentally disabled adult population or in a health-related field or equivalent experience.

Ability to use Microsoft Word and Outlook.

Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and an insured personal vehicle to use while on agency business. Must have a good driving record. Must have a history of satisfactory job performance. Must have a record of reliable work attendance.

Must be able to meet all requirements and obtain all certificates required to perform the job or any aspect of the job and to access funding for performance of any aspect of the job.

Preferred:

Two year degree in Business with focus on production, scheduling and quality assurance.

Experience in production scheduling or quality assurance with a county board of DD. Experience in private industry manufacturing.

Ability to use Microsoft Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Schedules and oversees contract work in OVCs and/or community sites in order to ensure that internal and customer production deadlines, quality control, and inventory control specifications are met.

Coordinates, implements, monitors, and ensures efficient material and products flow throughout production areas to enable production staff to complete assigned jobs.

Maintains safe work environment by acquiring and applying knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local safety regulations.

HOURS:

40 hours per week. Typically, 7:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. Flexible days and hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the agency.

SALARY:

Level 5

PROBATION:

280 calendar days (initial); 90 calendar days (non-initial)
