Murray Ridge Housing Corporation
Murray Ridge Housing Corporation (MRHC), a non-profit housing board, was formed in January of 1992 for the purpose of providing affordable for individuals with developmental disabilities. MRHC was initiated by Murray Ridge Center, which (when available) accessed capital assistance funds from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) for the purpose of acquiring homes. Since its inception, MRHC has been committed to the goal of ensuring the availability of community-based living arrangements for eligible Lorain County citizens with developmental disabilities. Collectively, the homes owned by MRHC provide safe and affordable housing for more than 125 individuals with developmental disabilities. MRHC own 30+ homes which are all located in traditional residential neighborhoods throughout Lorain County.
