HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum:

Bachelor degree in Human Resources Management or related field, along with at least two (2) years’ experience in human resources. Ability to analyze Federal, State, and Local statutes, rules, and regulations and ensure Agency compliance as applicable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with spreadsheet and word processing software.  Excellent problem-solving skills. 

Must have a valid Ohio driver’s license and an insured personal vehicle for agency use.  Must have demonstrated consistently satisfactory job performance. Must have a record of reliable work attendance.

Must be able to meet all requirements and obtain all certificates required to perform the job or any aspect of the job, and to access funding for performance of any aspect of the job.

Preferred:

Working knowledge of statutes related to Human Resource Management including, but not limited to, FMLA.

Five (5) years human resources experience.

Experience analyzing Federal, State, and Local statutes, rules, and regulations and ensuring Agency compliance as applicable in the field of Developmental Disabilities and/or for a County Board.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and administrate FMLA. Process FMLA requests in accordance with all applicable statutes, rules, and regulations. 

Oversee, ensure and track agency-wide compliance with training/certification requirements, and other requirements pertinent to agency employees.  

Oversee, ensure and track requirements pertaining to sub-contractor compliance.

Analyze Federal, State, and Local statutes, rules, and regulations and ensure Agency compliance as applicable.

Conduct training as required.

Coordinate and track new employee orientation and related para-professional training.

Plan and coordinate annual agency in-service day.

Participate in other human resource management areas including, but not limited to, recruiting and conducting interviews as assigned. 

Communicate effectively and relate professionally with agency employees.

HOURS:

Normally, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday-Friday.  Flexible as needed to meet requirements of the position.

SALARY:

Level 6 – Management contract
